Yesterday

The history of our association is combined with that of the orphanage. From individual initiative, we switched to a functional associative structure, liaising with our local correspondents for the well being of children.

From 1995 to  2013, Sainte Thérèse of Lumbilla has hosted 443 chilren from 0 to 18 years old.

Yesterday - 2008 - The orphanage hosted 110 boarders, from the infant of a few days to the young adults. We saw this structure growing with rich equipments which today confer her a part of its economic viability. Pond in spiruline, pizzerias-bakeries, sheep, caprine, porcine populations and more recently a cattle farm. In a Sahelian country, this environment sems to be a real oasis.

2012 : This movie reports actions realized in premises by Alif NAABA, an artist from Burkina.. He mades reference to "Foreing french friends" - among whom Kamsaagré - contributed to the realization of certain operations, which the opening of 3 classes. The number of hosted children has fallen considerably. Only 52 children are taken care in the breast of the nursery. This one would require an extension and new material,which demonstrates the movie.

2013: In an incidental way, we learn that Pascaline - that we see in the video - was replaced by Geneviève KANSOLE. This information is recut by an article of the SIDWAYA, a newspaper of Burkina,  reporting the visit of " The association of the women of the National Assembly " to Lumbilla. Behind this news, are transplanted a whole series of administrative problems, among which, the modification of our statutes - Pascaline being our on-the-spot relay and only authorized to receive the transferred funds...

Today

2015 : During 2014, Jean-Marc LEPRADO, our presiden,t restores the contact with the orphanage. One of our new members, Bertrand, goes on site, at the end of January, 2015 to get in touch personally, to make a " basic current inventory situation" . We talk about a possible visit of Geneviève during 2016

2016

January : Bertrand goes second time to Burkina, within the framework of a professional matters. He tries a finest analysis of the situation and a photo reporting coming soon on the web site. His analysis will be confirmed during our meeting with Geneviève in May in Paris.

May : We meet Geneviève in Paris. This visit is going to be the occasion to settle a number of administrative details which stayed in stand by. During the interview, Geneviève confirms us certain points lifted by Bertrand during his visit. Of 110 in 2008, the number of children    has fallen to 52 in 2013 (to see the report " The heart of Alif Naaba) and becomes established from now on i 48. This decrease is understandable by a will marked with the Ministry of Social Affairs which wishes that the children make only a passage limited within the orphanage. Besides, the ministry favors the adoption of the children in Burkina's family, to avoid hiatuses which we can easily understand.

Tomorow...

If it's certain that tomorrow has already begun and that the objectives of self-sufficiency towards which the orphanage aims are at hand, our action remains essential. The necessity of spreading the nursery and of endowing her of an opertional  equipment still has a great resonance. Some of them begin to date, the report Bertrand's photo, soon online demonstrates it very clearly.

Our main motivation, ceaselessly reaffirmed,  remains the well being of the children. It's clear, that we can always bring a substantial help to validate this objective.

That's why we request because you can, you can be the mainspring in the realization this objective which holds in our DNA: Kamsaagre means "the hope of the children".

In the past, you mobilised yourself to make possible some realisations. We hope that your generosity will be able to allow tomorow shall be better than today.
