I - A globally positive campaign report...

A reactive structure.

Year 2011 ended in the most important amount of our collection since the creation of Kamsaagre.

It also revealed the reactivity and the flexibility of adaptation of the association in case of emergency.  During the year the chosen projects - library and computer room - must be placed in stand by in front of the urgency of certain situations. The redeployment of funds towards the acquisition of agricultural machines and to the health center correspond to collective decisions inspired by our local coordinator Pascaline OUEDRAOGO.

II- Which must be however qualified...

A) A donors' stable panel

The importance of our collection can't however mask a stability, not to say a stagnation of our donors' panel. The selected projects, if they correspond to your choices do not federate beyond a defined circle. This difficulty raised since the 2011 campaign  is strengthened this year by the financial difficulties which shake old Europe.

It is thus legally that the question settled during our last general assembly, in which in participated Pascaline, our local coordinator. Our mode of communication is centred around the Web site and around the mailing at the time of the opening of the campaign. If this last active rest between the period of opening of campaign and the transfer of collected funds towards the orphanage, we have to admit that the absence of information comment-campaign is a handicap. The structure of the site is not in question, the number of visitors grows since the creation of the site.

B) So What solution ?

The solution could come from social networks which touch one public, vaster and more very reactive. It is thus this option which we are going to test during this year. The site is going to remain a vector of communication which will manage towards the page Facebook of the association.

We are going to create facebook page by sharing information coming from our web site and orphanage web site. Althought different, the sites are complementary and are able to bring us answer to the question lifted during our general assembly.

C) Always Boys Scout !

Beyond the donations, the clothing, the school equipment are so many actions for which, the sending of the collected matter always constituted a major obstacle. The prohibitive costs of the rents of containers would absorb the quasi-totality of the collection of Kamsaagré.

It is however possible, through the Boy scouts of France who charter a container once the year, to send the material to the orphanage. We study the feasibility of this option and return towards you on the occasion of a news on Facebook.
